Since 1989, IPZ – International Products Zechmeister has stood for successful trading, entrepreneurial vision, and sustainable partnerships.
Founded by Alfred Zechmeister, the company developed dynamically from the very beginning. The early focus on lubricants, cleaning products, and adhesives in Central and Eastern European markets laid the foundation for continuous growth.
Within 18 years, IPZ grew into an international trading company with more than 300 dedicated employees. After selling the company in 2007, it was clear to Alfred Zechmeister that entrepreneurship is not a profession, but a mindset. The next success story soon followed.
2008 – IPZ Eyewear – the establishment of a trading company for high-quality, Italian-designed sunglasses, sports glasses, and reading glasses, achieving more than 450 distribution partners within just 1.5 years. After the company was sold in 2016, it has remained successfully active across Europe to this day.2022 marked the next milestone. Whether as an investor, entrepreneur, consultant, or founding member of TIGA, Alfred Zechmeister's entrepreneurial spirit continues to thrive. As a shareholder of TIGA Vertriebs GmbH, he remains active both nationally and internationally, pursuing his passion – entrepreneurship.

The Beginning
1989: FOUNDATION OF IPZ
In 1989, Alfred Zechmeister founded IPZ and at that time obtained the distribution rights for Novatio products in Central and Eastern Europe from NOVATIO EUROPE N.V.

1993 Industrial – Products – Zechmeister acquired the European distribution rights for XINTEX products. XINTEX products are specialty products originating from the USA for industrial cleaning and maintenance. Around 80% of the products are water-based.

Alfred Zechmeister becomes a shareholder of TIGA Vertriebs GmbH. TIGA receives the distribution rights for Novatio products in Austria. Exports to Slovenia, Croatia, Hungary, and Slovakia.
